During 2018/19, LimeCulture CIC is trialling a programme of accreditation, monitoring and support with services providers wishing to adopt and implement the Quality Standards.

The key driver for the implementation of each of the Quality Standards is to improve the overall quality and consistency of  service provision. During the development and consultation phases of both sets of Quality Standards, providers and commissioners reported that there is a need to ensure that standards are applied consistently and that these should be independently verified.

The funding from Lloyds Bank Foundation England and Wales allowed 10 organisations to become part of the trial to achieve a quality ‘kite mark’ once they are able to evidence they meet the standards. This will include a package of support for those not currently compliant with the standards who could benefit from tailored support in order to meet them.
